Iris Blooms Make Me Happy

Reblooming irises & early morning dewdrops ... wet bare feet & soggy denim jeans ... squishy mud between my toes & tickly blades of grass ... I'm so satisfied, content, and thankful for spring (it's truly here!) and these gorgeous blooms right outside our kitchen window.Do you have a favorite iris color? I have each name entered in my gardening journal & will have to revisit that to remember their names, all 20 of them. This is their third year in our perennial garden. How I wish the blooms would last and last.
Today our pc refused to work correctly, so rather than throw it out the window and have that extra expense, I decided to shut down and get out of my office chair into the sunshine. I headed to the nursery for more rose bushes, forsythia, and azaleas. It's my favorite season!
God's creation is beautiful and good.

Our Visit in Ohio

... included celebrating Dad & Mom's 63rd wedding anniversary, enjoying the beautiful red bud & dogwood trees and tulips blooming, picking johnny jump-ups, hanging a wren house in the tall cedar tree, scrapbooking with Deb Butler and the Scrapping Buckeye Babes, having dinner and planning a summer family reunion with cousins Peggy, Dianne, Bev, and Sue, photographing people, blooms, and shadows in the area.
Here's a shadow from Dad's tall radio tower. I hope to get back to participating in HeyHarriet's shadow shot Sundays soon!
