Shadow Shot Sunday

O'Pa and Ella walk by the fountain in Forest Park in late afternoon.

We've had SO MUCH rain these past few weeks, I was fortunate to capture this shot on the pick day of the month--a partly sunny day, hooray!

I also captured the holly berries beginning to turn color with the leaf shadows, and the last rose of summer in our garden.

Now skip over to heyharriet and see beautiful shadow shots from more photographers.

  3. The little one leaves an impressive shadow, making her more an equal to her much larger companion. A wonderful day to walk, the shadows showing us the love between the two...

  9. I have not had time to visit Forest Park since the Muny season closed. We have to grab one of the last warm days of fall and visit the art museum and my favorite spot, Turtle Park.

Love your shadows and what a nice way to spend the day. Thank you for the visit and the nice comments on my Autumn shots. Between vacation and other commitments my blogging time has been very reduced. So nice to catch up on your blog. I really enjoyed the beach shots from a few weeks ago. I would certainly choose to live on the beach if I could.
