DH with his lure in the White River ... anybody hungry?
The White River Fishing Guides' dock
Fishing boats at the dock
My shadow & the step shadows on the walk down to the river
Shadows -- reflections -- here are some of each from our week's stay near the White River in Arkansas where DH fished for trout.
The fish weren't very hungry. And unfortunately those that ended up striking and being reeled in were all brown trout under the 24 inch length requirement.
So we went to a local restaurant and had a fish dinner!
The best part of all was that this vacation was truly relaxing
and we came home refreshed.
Have a good new week, and thanks for stopping by my blog!
Thanks to Tracy (heyharriet) for doing a fantastic job with SSS!

Hi Jane!
Great photos of memorable moments! I love them - you are very talented with that camera!
What a fabulous vacation it sounded like! I think my favorite shot is the one with the boats at the dock. So colorful!
boy...anytime you come home refreshed from a vacation is good stuff!! Looks like you had great weather & sounds like a lovely time!
Now, to continue this at home...this is what we need to learn to do - isn't it?!!
Lovely shadow photos from your holiday.
Very charming localized snapshots. How overwhelming to see many different countries whose family fun activities are similar to the others.
Thanks for the visit Jane. Oh, it was my son-in-law who was driving the car while I was minding the baby at the back. So I got all the chances to click my shutter.
Sweet photos of your fishing adventures! I'm sure the fish dinner out more than made up for not catching any trout :) That's such a cute shot of the boats all lined up so perfectly like that!
Hope you have a wonderful week Jane :)
Hi Jane, Sorry I only just realised that your link was wrong. I edited it in Mr Linky so will now direct to your main blog url. Sorry I was a bit slow to catch onto this...
Mr Linky will always remember the last url you submitted to it, so you should be able to enter a new url after deleting the old one when you're at the 'enter details' stage. I think... other than that I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working for you. Could be gremlins ;)
Oh fresh fish.... yummy!
Glad to read you enjoyed a relaxed holiday!
What wonderful photos..and a very nice vacation too..Even if your DH didn't catch a larger fish, it must have been enjoyable just dropping the line. You caught great shadows..so it worked out well..ha, ha..
Happy SSS.
As Sharli says, "Great photos of memorable moments!"
I just returned from a long road trip myself. The photos are great memories as well, and great capture of the shadows!. I took a few of my own shadow and will share one or two of them in the weeks to come.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Peace.
Great shadow shots. I love all of them.
Thank you for stopping by.
An afternoon of fishing, beautiful! My idea of heaven!
All our rivers are bank full right now with flash flood warnings everywhere, best just to watch you guys fish, fun shots!
Fishing is fun but cleaning and cooking takes time - so in a way you were lucky - restaurant did all that work for you! :)
Hope you have a good week ahead.
SSS greetings from Casablanca again!
