Artiste and Hooligans -- Halloween Treat Bags

My two favorite little Halloweeners will receive these lunch bags full of treats this week ... I included some sugary treats, but balanced the collection with lip gloss, coloring books, markers, and gift certificates to keep their mommy happy too and avoid the sugar-highs.

I used the Hooligan papers, Stickease, and felt monsters from last year's Close To My Heart stash.

I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut some of the embellishments to make the 3-D bag fronts. The back side of the spider bag has a big black "Eeek!" and the back side of the cat bag has a big black "Boo!"

When my cutting blade gave out, I had to cut the black cat out by hand ... now I'm remembering to be prepared in the future! Thankful for the awesome micro-tipped scissors!

Happy Hallowed Eve ... safe trick or treating with your kiddos ... and Happy All Saints Day on November 1 too!

So cute! I was just looking at the Halloween pages of the handbook today and feeling sad that I hadn't had time to create very much with them. I guess there is always next year. Sorry about your blade; handcutting really makes you appreciate the Cricut doesn't it? LOL
