Lucy Is "Out of the Hat"

This week the Heart 2 Heart Challenge is a Photo Inspiration Challenge. You can see it HERE. And here is the inspiration photo:

I chose to show the colors in the new Lucy paper packet--the pretty pinks and greens--on my two-page layout about our grandgirl Ella, using these CTMH products:

 "Lucy" paper packet, Kraft cardstock, Complements Glittery Rub Ons, Blush Ribbon, Sparkles, Pull-out tag (for hidden journaling), and Color Ready Alphabet

Lucy CAS Card

Clean And Simple!

I used:
CTMH Lucy Papers, sheer sweet leaf ribbon, Complements Glitter Rub Ons, Mini Sparkles, Happy Birthday stamp, Sweet Leaf and Blush inks

Other: M-S butterfly punch, Verve Scripture stamp

I like to make the inside of the card pretty too -- it's always a nice surprise!

Lucy & Flutter-by in Five Layers

I'm totally stuck on the pretty Lucy papers from CTMH! Flowers and butterflies are my all-time favorite design elements. The inside of this 5 x 7 card is blank, to be used as a notecard.

I used CTMH ivory cardstock, Lucy papers, Flutter butterfly shape, Lucy Glittery Rub Ons, the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut the flower center, foam squares (under each scalloped circle), and a Pearl Opaque.

Other: sheer ribbon, glue dots, and Marvy punches.

I'm Liking Lucy!

The Lucy paper packet and the Lucy Complements Glittery Rub-Ons are new items in the Close To My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Book. The Lucy colors include Blush, Creme Brulee, Sweet Leaf, and Grey Wool.

I used two rub-on florals on the front of the clear card (inside the Cricut-cut medallion frame in Hollyhock) and one on the inside of the card on top of the diamond-patterned paper.

The Sweet Leaf butterfly is a die cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. The Hollyhock paper butterfly is a M-S punch.  The small printed butterflies are CTMH's Flutter Paper Shapes.  Small glue dots and CTMH Bonding Memories help to adhere all the parts of this card.

The stamp "Our Love" is from an older stamp set, Celebrate Life. I used Hollyhock ink.

Clear cards are clearly my favorites when I'm in the cardmaking zone!
