Gift Card Holder -- Artiste & Avonlea
I saw this cute gift card holder idea shared by Dawn H. on the CTMH Bulletin Board -- her blog is stamptildawn.blogspot.com Thanks, Dawn!
It was so easy to make using the Artiste cartridge from CTMH. Just select "card" and the letter "J" and set the measurement to 3 inches. You can cut 3 cards from a 12 x 12 inch cardstock. I used the Avonlea papers for this birthday gift card holder and added the new Baker's Twine. A glue dot holds the gift card in place.
The ladies at this coming Saturday's workshop will get to make and take these using the new Pear and Partridge papers!
Hmmmm...I wonder who will get this one?

Mojo Monday #252 Round and Square Cards
It's a Mojo Monday challenge!
After doing my evening yoga, I was inspired to try this, and came up with both a circle and a square card, using two of the newest Close To My Heart paper packets.
I just LOVE circle cards, and some papercrafting friends have dubbed me the Queen of Circles. What a nice compliment! However, I am in awe of so many queens, kings, princesses, and princes of paper crafting!
This awesome circle sketch was designed by Julee Tilman:
My Circle Card in Avonlea:
CTMH products I used: New burlap ribbon; embellishments cut from Artiste Cricut Cartridge; Black hemp; happy day stamp; chocolate ink; opaque pearls; wooden button.
This card is for a young woman who is building her new business, one step at a time, and making her own happiness!
My Square Card in Flirty:
CTMH products I used: Square Kraft Card base; Artiste cartridge-cut butterflies; opaque pearls; sheer ribbon. Verve stamp: "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10"
I'll use this card as a sympathy card and write my own note inside.
Have a creative and inspired week, everyone!

Avonlea Birthday Card with Artiste
A very special man is turning the big 6-0 at the end of this month, and I wanted to make a manly greeting card for him.
I love the Kraft paper color with the new Avonlea papers -- and am happy with the way this masculine card turned out. What do you think? (Next time I'm using the new burlap for sure!)
I used all Close To My Heart products and had fun with some of the items in the new Fall/Winter Idea Book!
Avonlea paper packet (NEW!)
Artiste Cricut Cartridge shapes to compliment the Dimensional Elements (NEW!)
Artiste Birthday Stamp Collection (NEW)
Avonlea Green and Teal inks (NEW) as well as Chocolate
6 x 6 inch Kraft card base (with scalloped edge cut off)
"For You" ribbon (trimmed)
Wooden buttons
Additional stamp sets: Look Who's ... and Card Sentiments
If you haven't checked out the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge package for $99, see it and read all about it HERE.
I can pre-order it for you and save you tax and shipping. Or you can choose to order from my site: http://janeellinghaas.ctmh.com beginning August 1. It's a winner of a product with 700 new images to use!
