Subtle Shadows of Logan U

Shadows were long and subtle on the Fall day when I strolled Logan Univ's campus after a routine chiropractic treatment there. It's a beautiful location in the rolling hills on the edge of StL. They have a health clinic open to the public and I allow the student interns to work on my spine. They love my old spine and all its challenges!

I had hoped to get shots of the Chinese Festival at the botanical garden this weekend, but rain put a nix on that idea! If you have sunshine, please send it our way. :) We're about to launch a raft.

Now paddle over to Tracy's blog to see a variety of great Shadow Shots!
Happy new week!

Anticipation

We've been painting inside and out, powerwashing and staining the deck and fence, raking, mowing, planting, and mulching ... and one nice morning we took a break to go to a city park where Ella caught her first fish EVER. That pic is on Emily's blog.

Here's DH fishing that morning--he walked the entire lake perimeter only to do lots of fishin' but no catchin'. This foto is my best catch of the day.

Anticipation! We have a fishing trip planned for early May and another for early June. Whether it's fishin' or catchin', DH and I will definitely be restin'. Vacation, we're ready for ya.

Our Visit in Ohio

... included celebrating Dad & Mom's 63rd wedding anniversary, enjoying the beautiful red bud & dogwood trees and tulips blooming, picking johnny jump-ups, hanging a wren house in the tall cedar tree, scrapbooking with Deb Butler and the Scrapping Buckeye Babes, having dinner and planning a summer family reunion with cousins Peggy, Dianne, Bev, and Sue, photographing people, blooms, and shadows in the area.

Here's a shadow from Dad's tall radio tower. I hope to get back to participating in HeyHarriet's shadow shot Sundays soon!

Shadow Shot Sunday

Here are my shots this week for Shadow Shot Sunday with HeyHarriet.
It wasn't easy, because we've had mostly clouds and rain -- and that's okay, because the grass is emerald green and everything's blooming so pretty!

I happily happened on Harriet's site that features Shadow Shot Sunday. So I decided to participate. Here are my shadow shots from today, a beautiful Spring day to be outside, one just full of God's blessings.
