... a young-at-heart 90-year-old!
While I captured her photos, Ruth talked about God's goodness in her life and how much she had to be so thankful for. She shared her confirmation Bible verse from the Gospel of John, so I incorporated it into this wall art. Ruth is in the Word daily, and the living Word, Jesus, lives in Ruth's heart. She's enjoying a deep personal relationship with her Savior. What a witness she is!
Ruth is the hostess for a small group Bible study, and all the participants enjoy her zest for life, her ability to share her Bible knowledge so well, and her hospitality.
The name Ruth is derived from a Hebrew word meaning "friend" and an English name meaning "compassion." Ruth is all of these and more.
I used CTMH textured cardstock for the background, dimensional elements (some are popped up with foam squares), Liquid Glass, a colonial white photo clip with brads, and then I attached the collage inside a shadow box frame with a linen background. Since I took the photos of the project with the glass in place, the photos aren't quite true to color (her hands are not this dark!). And the linen borders don't show equal, but they really are. I'm happy with the way it turned out, and will give this gift to Ruth soon.
