When a plant blooms, you know it's happy in its spot!
This is "Rosemary," an herb from the collection I gave Mom for Mother's Day, blooming her little heart out this winter.
Thanks, Mom, for your great shadow shot.
With your permission, I'm sharing it with shadow shooters all over the world! (Maybe I'll get Mom hooked on the fun SS meme too.)
Happy New Year, and thanks for visiting!
Praying for sunshine here.

This rosemary is lovely as it continues to flower. Since it is cold in New England, our pot of rosemary is inside, and not nearly so green as yours. The sprouting herb leaves a fun shadow, the pointed leaves looking great, and even the shadow is aromatic!
HAVING sunlight there? Terrefic.
Have a wonderful week-end and wishes you all the best.

very cool.
Makes me want to scratch and sniff...ha!
Smells so good hmmmmm..
MY SSS post. Have a great weekend!
I love the shadows cast by plants -- so delicate and airy!
A lovely photo from your mum. Maybe she will become hooked and join in too! I'm very fond of rosemary because it's one of the few things I can manage to grow without killing. It must be very hearty to survive around me. I hope your new year is off to a great start Jane!

I too must try growing some since I don't have a green thumb!
I love that delicate shadow!
I have rosemary in the yard and it blooms all year long! (please, I'm not bragging - just stating the facts). Your Mom's plant is obviously very happy! What a great shadow-shot!
Hugs!
Hello Jane!
Lovely rosemary shot! Like Sweet Repose said, "it makes me want to scratch and sniff!" I am going to participate in Shadow Shot Sunday this week for the first time!
I love your About Me profile! I think we have a lot in common :)
